What You’ll Do

• Assist the Banquet Manager with planning, coordinating, and executing banquet events.
• Review banquet event orders and communicate event details to the banquet team.
• Supervise event setups, service, room transitions, and breakdowns.
• Lead pre-shift meetings and assign responsibilities to banquet associates.
• Ensure service, presentation, timing, and cleanliness meet hotel standards.
• Coordinate with culinary, catering, sales, and service teams to support seamless events.
• Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to questions, concerns, or special requests.
• Support the training, coaching, and development of banquet associates.
• Monitor staffing needs and assist with employee scheduling.
• Maintain banquet supplies, equipment, and inventory.
• Ensure compliance with food-safety, sanitation, workplace-safety, and hotel policies.
• Step into the Banquet Manager’s leadership responsibilities when needed.

What Makes You a Great Fit

• Previous banquet, catering, restaurant, or event-management experience is preferred.
• Supervisory or team-lead experience in hospitality is strongly preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and remain composed under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to exceptional guest service.
• Ability to motivate a team and address performance concerns professionally.
• Knowledge of banquet service standards, food safety, and sanitation practices.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and assist with event setup when needed.
• Flexible availability, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
