Pay: $2,442.24 weekly


Shifts: 36 hours guaranteed, Every Other Weekend (EOW) & Every Other Holiday (EOH)


Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced Step-Down RN for a travel assignment in Auburn, NY. This role involves working with patients with complex cardiac and respiratory conditions in a dynamic and collaborative healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Step-Down nursing and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities of the Step-Down RN

• Provide post-cardiac catheterization care including TR band management
• Monitor patients after vascular procedures and ensure frequent vital signs and neurovascular checks
• Administer emergency medications and procedural sedation
• Manage and interpret cardiac telemetry and dysrhythmias
• Handle BiPAP and CPAP management for patients with respiratory failure
• Perform IV starts, maintenance, and PICC line management
• Perform CVA/Acute Stroke management
• Focus on infection prevention and isolation precautions

Requirements of the Step-Down RN

• Active RN license
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
• Minimum 2 years of recent Step-Down experience
• Proficiency in cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation
• Experience with cardiac drip titration
• Ability to assist with chest tube insertion/removal
