Join us in shaping our future–and yours.Role reports to:Senior Director Plant LeaderLocation:North America, United States, Pennsylvania, Fort WashingtonWork Location:Fully OnsiteWhat you will doThe Director, Manufacturing Excellence is a senior leader of the site responsible for the development and execution of the organization's strategies, goals and objectives. This role is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of the site project portfolio, process excellence program and digital transformation, ensuring consistency with business strategy, commitments and company goals. This includes defining, identifying and securing internal and external resources and coordinating efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver according to plans.Key Responsibilities:Partner with the Consumer Health Supply Chain and appropriate councils, to identify key emerging Operational Excellence opportunities and drive overall achievement of Manufacturing effectiveness.In coordination with the site's Project Management Office (PMO), optimize the entire portfolio to improve costs of resources and maximize benefits while maturing digital capabilitiesMaintain high quality and safety compliance standards, while planning and executing the project portfolioDrive associated governance processes to enable continuous improvement, product insourcing and new product introductions (NPIs)Facilitate the Process Excellence Program to enable growth, improve systems, waste elimination and employee engagement by applying Process Excellence tools within the KOE frameworkAct as an internal consultant, influencing decision making and proactively developing solutions to uncover business opportunities and actionable insights driving end-to-end business KPIsSupport daily business operations and functions as the site Subject Matter Expert for digital, problem solving and innovationUnder administrative direction, support organizational design and implementation of the processes. Manage the implementation of major organizational effectiveness initiatives to increase leadership and organizational capacityLead crisis management situations and function as the Site Leader in his/her absenceRepresent the Fort Washington Site and champion the Supply Chain Excellence Program. Facilitate Fort Washington Leadership Team (FWLT) meetings. Ensure adherence to FWLT standard work. Facilitate Operational Reviews and Network Strategy meetings. Maintains site capacity modelsRepresent the Fort Washington Site with the Pennsylvania Manufacturing Association as well as with Government affairsRepresent Fort Washington in Regional and Global GovernancesWhat we are looking forRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in sciences or engineering; Master's degree or other advanced degree is preferredMinimum ten (10) years of relevant experience with increasing responsibility in an OTC or Pharma regulated environment is requiredExperience and working knowledge of Project Management toolsMust have proven leadership with significant experience in demonstrating effective influence of senior managementProven record of leading teams in delivering resultsBusiness and financial acumenProven record in leading organizational design and developmentStrong strategic mind, outstanding critical thinking, influencing and interpersonal and stakeholder management skills are requiredDirector QA, MST, Operations experience is preferredExcellent oral and written communication skills.Desired Qualifications:Knowledgeable in statistics, good manufacturing practices and pharmaceutical industry applicable regulationsAdvanced research capabilities, problem solving, excellent organizational abilities and project management; ability to maintain confidentialityStrong data visualization and analytical skills including statistical tool knowledgeStrong financial acumen at both plant/business level and department budgetary levelStrong communication (written, verbal, presentation) ability from floor level operations up to senior VP levels; can demonstrate excellent visualization & story telling skillsAbility to facilitate discussions and workshops at multiple organizational levelsDemonstrated passion to challenge the status quo and find new solutions and drive out of the box ideas; embraces changePMP or a Project Management Certification is highly desirable; demonstrated enterprise-wide knowledge and experience leading cross-functional teamsBlack Belt or Green Belt Certification is highly preferred; Six-Sigma and/or Lean certification preferredWhat's in it for youAnnual base salary for new hires in this position ranges:$183,175.00 - $258,600.00This takes into account a number of factors including work location, the candidate's skills, experience, education level & other job-related factors.Competitive Benefit Package*Paid Company Holidays, Paid Vacation, Volunteer Time & More!Learning & Development OpportunitiesKenvuer Impact NetworksThis list could vary based on location/region*Note: Total Rewards at Kenvue include salary, bonus (if applicable) and benefits.
