CNC Machinist - 1st shift

The CNC Machinist runs numerically controlled machining and turning centers and uses machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments. You'll identify tooling, machine malfunctions, operating problems, and report issues to the lead contact for corrections and adjustments. In addition, the CNC Machinist makes offsets and tool changes to produce quality parts, working with tolerances that need to be exact to within +/-.05mm.What You'll Do:Use micrometers, electronic and/or air gauges, calipers, verniers, surface gauges, height, and depth indicators to check work for dimensional accuracy.Make minor adjustments to maintain tolerance and finish requirements.
