**Join Our Team as an Outpatient CT Technologist!** **Job Description:** - Are you ready to make a difference in patient care while advancing your career in imaging? - Join us as an Outpatient Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist and be a part of an innovative team dedicated to health care services and patient diagnostics. - Enjoy a fulfilling role where you will: - Perform CT procedures and related techniques to produce high-quality images for interpretation. - Operate state-of-the-art CT scanners to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of various health conditions. - Utilize your knowledge of imaging techniques and cross-sectional anatomy to enhance the quality of patient images. - Modify technical settings and adjust scanning parameters, ensuring minimal exposure for patients. - Conduct routine quality inspections and maintain quality control on the scanner as per guidelines. **Minimum Qualifications:** - Graduate of an accredited Radiology program or equivalent. - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification. - Current American Heart Association BLS certification within 60 days of hire. - Two (2) years of radiology experience as a registered technologist. - ARRT CT registry eligibility. **Preferred Qualifications:** - 1 year of post-graduation experience in trauma Radiology. **Essential Job Functions:** - Perform CT exams and procedures as requested by medical staff. - Assist Radiologists and medical professionals during exams and procedures. - Handle ancillary duties for proper exam distribution, billing, and archival. - Complete documentation for exam interpretation, reporting, and retrieval. - Retrieve written orders and health information to facilitate timely exams. - Participate in quality improvement initiatives as outlined in the strategic plan. **Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:** - Excellent judgment, patience, and a professional demeanor. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills. - Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment. - Adaptability to learn and utilize new computer applications and office equipment. - Flexibility to work varied shifts as required. **Physical Requirements:** - Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly. - Capability to stand, walk, sit, and engage in physical tasks throughout shifts. - Good balance and coordination for moving within the work area. - Exceptional fine motor skills for precise tasks and operations. - Continuous visual acuity for analyzing data and reading materials. - Awareness of potential exposures to bloodborne pathogens and radiation. **Shift Information:** - 4-10's Day Shift: Enjoy a structured schedule with no call, nights, or weekends! **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** - At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country. - Enjoy competitive pay, seamless onboarding, and a supportive recruiter who’s with you every step of the way. - Join us — where your expertise makes a difference every day!
