Job Summary:
A Certified Operating Room Technician position is available in Baltimore, Maryland. This role involves assisting with orthopedic procedures, preparing and fabricating casts, and maintaining orthopedic supplies and equipment. It requires a high school diploma or GED, certification as an Orthopedic Technician/Technologist, and two years of relevant experience.

Job Details:

• Position: Certified Operating Room Technician
• Location: Baltimore, Maryland
• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED, certification as an Orthopedic Technician/Technologist, two years of experience, and the ability to meet the location and certification requirements
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous employment with any facility within the healthcare provider system, especially if the candidate is a former staff, perm, or PRN employee and has been away for at least one full year before applying
• Additional Information: Must be able to adjust splints, casts, braces, and surgical devices using specialized tools. Will be responsible for fabricating casts, setting traction devices, removing sutures/staples, and maintaining orthopedic inventory and equipment. Review inventory regularly to ensure availability of state-of-the-art equipment for all patient populations. Perform related duties as required.
