Ultrasound TechnologistUltrasound Technologist demonstrates competency in performing all ultrasound exams, ensuring proficiency in producing technical and diagnostic scans for interpretation. Positions patient and equipment and produce an appropriate recording. The private, not-for-profit institution is accredited by the New England Commission of Higher Education and plays an important role in training the next generation of healthcare professionals.EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING1. RDMS (ARDMS) or S (ARRT) certification in at least one body or region required within 1 year from date of hire and maintain.2. Graduate an accredited ultrasound program or current certification as identified in #1 and graduation within 90 days of hire.3. Previous experience preferred.4. Current BCLS certificate required upon hire and maintain current.5. Proficient computer skillsCentral Maine Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $38.00 to $47.51 per hour.
