Decatur Center for Nursing and Healing is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON). This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Longterm Care Nurse that is seeking career growth.

Responsibilities:  

The ADON performs diverse duties to ensure resident care quality and will: 

- Coordinate comprehensive nursing care 

- Implement specialized procedures and programs 

- Collaborate with the Director of Nursing Services and Nurse Manager in setting goals 

- Adhere to operational policies, state, and federal regulations 

Key Duties:  

- Deliver safe and efficient care 

- Ensure compliance with laws and regulations 

- Participate in nursing home survey process 

- Oversee infection control and quality assurance 

- Supervise and train nursing personnel 

- Organize in-service and training programs 

Requirements:  

- RN qualification 

- Team-oriented 

- Infection Prevention Experience preferred 

- Experience training and educating others

Hours: 

Monday to Friday, with alternating weekend on-call.
