The purpose of the Billing Clerk is to assist the billing office in day to day activities in a rapidly growing Oncology Practice.

Duties include:

• Opening and sorting mail
• Distributing correspondence to other departments
• Creating check batches for processing and printing
• Working in Excel and spreadsheets
• Pulling and working credit card reports for daily processing
• Scanning/filing of patient information
• Basic computer skills for payment portals
• Other duties as assigned

• Ability to work independently in an office setting

Education/Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent

Working conditions:

This position works in the billing office of a busy medical oncology/hematology clinic.

Physical requirements:

This position requires that the employee be able to sit at a desk and work on a computer for up to 8 hours a day. Some walking and standing will be required when completing certain tasks.

Direct reports:

This position is not a supervisory position.
