We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Warehouse Packaging Specialist to join our team. The Packaging Specialist will be responsible for preparing, packing, and labeling products for shipment in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role ensures that all orders are accurately packaged, meet quality standards, and are ready for timely delivery while maintaining a safe and organized workspace.
*Key Responsibilities:
- **Packaging & Labeling: Accurately pack products according to specifications, ensuring items are secure and protected during transit. Apply appropriate labels, including shipping labels, barcodes, and product information. - **Quality Control:** Inspect products for damage or defects before packing to ensure compliance with company standards.
- **Order Processing:** Retrieve items from returns, verify quantities, and prepare them for shipment.
- **Inventory Management:** Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records by reporting discrepancies and organizing stock in designated areas.
- **Equipment Operation:** Safely operate packaging equipment, such as tape machines, pallet wrappers, and forklifts, following safety protocols.
- **Workplace Safety:** Adhere to all safety guidelines, including proper lifting techniques and use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- **Team Collaboration:** Work closely with warehouse staff, supervisors, and logistics teams to ensure efficient workflow and order movement.
- **Documentation:** Complete necessary paperwork or digital records related to packaging, shipping, and inventory tasks.


Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, packaging, or logistics role is a plus but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to lift and move packages up to [insert weight, e.g., 50 lbs] and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and order processing systems.
- Forklift certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain certification).
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Team player with good communication skills.
