Typical Day in the Life

As a Tax Manager / Senior Manager, you’ll :

• Lead staff to ensure timely, accurate completion of individual and business tax returns.
• Review, approve, and sign off on tax returns for client distribution.
• Mentor and support staff to help them enhance their skills and further their careers.
• Gather and analyze tax-related information from clients to prepare accurate returns.
• Apply multiple perspectives to tax situations to maximize client benefits.
• Network and build relationships to attract new clients and business opportunities.
• Manage billing for services provided.

Qualifications

• Education : Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Experience : Prior public accounting experience, with 5-7 years in tax-related work.
• Certification : Active CPA or EA license.
• Industry Knowledge : Experience in Healthcare, Dentists, Professional Services, Real Estate, and / or Manufacturing industries is preferred.
• Skills : Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Authorization : Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Leadership experience within the tax field.
• Exposure to a variety of industries and the ability to interpret financial statements.
