Whether you're rotating product, checking in deliveries, or helping a customer find what they need, your work makes a real difference every single day.If you enjoy staying active, take pride in a job well done, and thrive working as part of a team, we'd love to have you on our team.What You'll DoNo two shifts are exactly the same, but here's what you can expect:Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting every customer with a smile, assisting them with their needs, and going the extra mile to make their shopping experience a great oneReview the status and appearance of merchandise for freshness and replenish and rotate product to maintain quality standardsEnsure an adequate product supply is ready and on hand; develop or follow a production list and anticipate daily product needs for the departmentCheck in product, put product away, and review invoices as neededPrepare, finish, and replenish product as necessaryPractice proper sanitation procedures and keep the work area clean, neat, and safe at all timesRemove trash in a timely manner and assist with general department upkeepOrder product and supplies and price products for customers as neededAnswer the phone promptly and provide friendly, helpful service to customers who callFollow Hy-Vee's dress code, hygiene standards, and all department and company guidelinesPitch in with other tasks or special projects as they come upYour SkillsYou don't need extensive experience for this role; we'll provide the training you need to succeed. You'll work in the produce department and can expect frequent exposure to temperature extremes and dampness, as well as possible equipment movement hazards, electrical equipment, and cleaning chemicals and solvents.
