Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Grocery Retail Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers. You will assist in various sales activities, maintain stock levels, and promote products effectively. If you have a passion for retail and enjoy engaging with customers, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs.
• Operate the cash register efficiently, processing transactions accurately.
• Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and product features to effectively upsell items.
• Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits.
• Assist in stocking shelves and organizing merchandise to ensure a well-presented store.
• Handle customer inquiries and provide information regarding products and services.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and stockroom.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not required.
• Strong POS and cash register skills for transaction accuracy.
• Excellent phone etiquette for handling customer calls professionally.
• Ability to perform product demos effectively to engage customers.
• Familiarity with grocery store operations is a plus.
• Basic math skills for inventory management and stock assessments.
• Supervisory experience is beneficial but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.
• Strong sales skills with a focus on upselling products to enhance customer experience.
