CNC Lathe/Mill Machinists - 2nd Shift

Core Values Safety Accountability Stakeholder Commitment Improvement Integrity and Respect Position Overview We are seeking experienced CNC Machinists to join our team on Second Shift. The role involves operating and setting up CNC lathes and mills, reading engineering drawings, performing quality inspections, and collaborating with the engineering team. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC lathes (multi‑spindle, multi‑axis) and 3‑axis CNC mills. Set up and run up to two machines in a cell. Read and interpret GD&T and engineering drawings. Run production to calculated standards. Use measuring equipment, including hand‑held gauges and advanced devices for in‑process inspections. Follow work instructions and quality control procedures. Collaborate with engineers on program and operation issues. Communicate clearly within a team and maintain a professional work environment. Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong math and mechanical skills. Proficiency with computer skills. Ability to work safely and wear appropriate PPE. Discipline to produce consistent and precise work. Familiarity with quality control systems/software. Problem‑solving skills, especially for machining and tooling issues. Ability to manage multiple demands professionally. Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Experience with multiple types of CNC controls. Knowledge of robotics and CMMs. Willingness to learn multiple machine cells. Physical Requirements Lift, pull, push or apply force up to 60 lbs. Frequent bending, stooping, pulling, twisting. Extended periods of standing or walking. Frequent use of hands, wrists, arms; dexterity required. Pass vision testing for defect detection. Hear machines, equipment, and tooling during run. Work Schedule and Environment Second shift Monday‑Thursday 4:15 p.m. – 2:45 a.m.; 4‑10 s schedule. OT offered on Friday and Saturdays. Work on the production floor with large CNC machines. Temperature‑controlled and clean shop. Compensation and Benefits Starting hourly rate: $25.00 – $32.00 + 10% shift differential.
