Our client, a healthcare and senior living provider, is seeking an experienced Cook to join their team. As a Cook, you will be part of the culinary support staff supporting senior residents' nutritional needs. The ideal candidate will demonstrate dedication, attention to detail, and a passion for preparing nutritious meals, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Cook Pay Range: $18.00 per hour Shift: Starting at 5:00 am with flexibility for schedules What’s the Job? Prepare nutritious, flavorful, and well-balanced meals following established menus Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, sanitation, and storage standards Follow dietary guidelines to prepare therapeutic diets for residents Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality food service What’s Needed? Experience as a cook or in a related food preparation role Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices Ability to acquire food safety certification Basic math and counting skills Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal What’s in it for me?
