MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR

Job Summary Position starts at $25.23/hour. Supervises and coordinates activities of staff engaged in maintaining and repairing mechanical, electrical, and physical structures of buildings and maintaining grounds at various Tulsa Housing Authority owned and/or managed properties. Assists in performing the actual hands‑on activities as required. Responds to after‑hour calls as needed or directed by THA Management. Directly supervises one to ten maintenance employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with agency policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Requirements High school diploma or general education degree. One to three years of related work experience and/or training. One year experience as a supervisor and/or working lead or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must hold a valid Oklahoma Driver's license. Position requires ability to work overtime on weekdays and weekends and respond to emergency calls. Must be able to work M–F, 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Benefits Principal 401(k) retirement plan with 11% THA contribution; employee may also contribute.
