Compliance Analyst – Vendor Compliance Management
We are seeking a detail-oriented Compliance Analyst to support a Vendor Compliance Management team within a large financial services organization. This position plays an important role in helping mitigate legal, regulatory, and operational risk through vendor assessments, issue remediation, compliance monitoring, and special projects.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, comfortable working independently, and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform Vendor Compliance Management (VCM) risk assessments and assist with the remediation of identified findings.
- Manage special projects related to vendor compliance and third-party risk.
- Track and monitor vendor insurance requirements and documentation.
- Monitor and review SOC reporting and related compliance information.
- Participate in and help calibrate collection calls and compliance-related reviews.
- Identify potential compliance concerns and ensure issues are properly documented, tracked, and escalated.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to vendor assessments and compliance activities.
- Coordinate multiple assignments while ensuring departmental deadlines are met.
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams and external vendors to obtain required information and resolve outstanding items.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
- Experience within the financial services industry, regulatory oversight, vendor compliance, risk management, or auditing is highly preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel .
- Strong analytical and operational analysis skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong research and problem-solving abilities.
- Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize workload and independently manage multiple assignments.
- Strong recordkeeping and documentation skills.
