Where You'll Work

At our Rome, GA facility we create dry blend products that delight our customers. We work hard, play hard, and give back to the community we work in through our Kerry employee engagement program. What You'll Do

Our Production Operators transform products from individual ingredients to store-ready by blending, lifting, and packing. They use their hustle to transport bags of ingredients before opening and pouring them into the blending machine. From there, the fine particle ingredients are blended to complete the product; then bagged and palletized.

When you're on the job, you can expect:

• To be a part of the product's transformation process. You'll handle it all with accuracy and safety.
• A very physical role. You will be continuously transport bags of ingredients that weigh up to 50 lbs. by hand. On average, you will be lifting between 75-150 bags per hour throughout your shift!
• Utilization of RF Scanners as you help us track and control product inventory with a system called SAP.
• Safety to be our number one priority. We'll train you on our manufacturing standards to make sure that everyone leaves as they come.
• A team you can rely on. We trust each other to show up every day and on time.

What You'll Need to be Successful and Safe

2 years of previous manufacturing experience is preferred.

A high school diploma or equivalent or previous work experience with detailed documenting is preferred. This is because you'll be working with different weights to specific standards.

Are you able to carry 50 lbs, stand for extended periods of time, and work at heights using a scissor-lift? We care about your safety, so you'll need to pass a pre-work physical as part of a safety check.

Do you have experience driving a stand-up forklift? The safety of our team and products are our top priority, so we prefer a year of experience behind the wheel.

Because you'll be part of a team that will count on you, we'd like to see solid work attendance in your current/previous job.

Compensation Data

The starting wage for this role is $22.00 per hour. This position may also be eligible for a shift differential and/or overtime. In addition to your pay, Kerry offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and retirement contribution (all benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements). We may use artificial intelligence tools to support the review and assessment of applications and assist with scheduling interviews. We do not use AI to make decisions during the interview process.
