ISO Surgical Veterinarian

Wags 2 Wellness Veterinary Care Center is looking for 1–2 surgical veterinarians to join our team in Minooka, IL. We are looking for 1-2 veterinarians that align with the following:

The position is for a VERY FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE that includes 4 days a week with a base salary of $135-$150,000 depending on experience, PLUS Production Bonus! NO PRODUCTION PAYBACK. Your base salary is guaranteed! PLUS because we also house Wags 2 Wishes Animal Rescue and provide services to them you may qualify for Public Service Loan Forgiveness just by becoming part of our team!

We also offer health benefits, (after 90 days) and paid licensing.

What We Do:

Wags 2 Wellness Veterinary Care Center was built with a clear mission: to provide high-quality, affordable veterinary care to pets in our community and to the rescue organizations that work tirelessly to save them.

Our original focus was providing low-cost spay/neuter services, dental care, and general surgical procedures. We quickly recognized an additional need within our community for accessible, affordable wellness and general veterinary care. As a result, we have expanded into a full-service veterinary care center while remaining committed to our low-cost mission.

We Are Seeking Surgical Veterinarians

We are looking for experienced, motivated veterinarians who are comfortable in a surgical setting and interested in joining a growing practice.

Procedures may include:

* High-volume spay and neuter (25-30 per day)

* Dental procedures, including extractions

* General soft-tissue surgery

* Additional surgical procedures based on the veterinarian’s experience and comfort level, to be discussed during the interview.

This is a high-volume veterinary practice. Candidates should understand that our ability to provide affordable veterinary care depends on operating efficiently and serving a significant number of patients. On most days, veterinarians should expect a busy and fast-paced caseload.

At the same time, high volume does not mean sacrificing quality of care. Our goal is to combine efficiency, strong medicine, compassionate treatment, and affordability so that more families and rescue organizations can access the veterinary services their animals need.

We are looking for veterinarians who understand this mission, work well as part of a team, and are excited about helping us continue to build a veterinary care center that makes a meaningful difference in our community.

Our equipment includes digital radiography, in-house IDEXX lab equipment and cytology, along with a well-equipped LARGE surgical and dental suites.

Compensation & Benefits

$135 - $150,000 guaranteed base salary (depending on experience) plus Product Bonus
