Registered Nurse - Cardiovascular Laboratory

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

On-call during the week and every other weekend. Day Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM or until all cases are completed.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Cardiovascular Laboratory will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The RN will work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to provide safe and effective care in the cardiovascular unit.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including monitoring and assessing patient conditions.
• Perform various cardiovascular procedures, including LHC, RHC, Peripherals, Structural Heart, and EP.
• Maintain accurate documentation within the Meditech and Mac Lab systems.
• Participate in on-call rotations to ensure 24/7 patient care coverage.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license in the state of Florida.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Previous cath lab experience is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
