Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• 
  Administer preoperative and postoperative nursing care to surgical patients.
  
  
• 
  Assist surgeons and surgical staff during procedures, ensuring adherence to sterile techniques.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to any clinical changes.
  
  
• 
  Document patient information accurately in electronic health records, including EPIC.
  
  
• 
  Maintain a sterile environment and ensure all equipment and supplies are ready for use.
  
  
• 
  Comply with all licensing, certification, and travel requirements, including BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and CNOR.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold a valid California RN license, uploaded within the last 2 weeks.
  
  
• 
  Possess current BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and CNOR certifications, with valid expiration dates.
  
  
• 
  Have at least 2 years of OR nursing experience in a fast-paced environment.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate proficiency with EPIC electronic health records.
  
  
• 
  Be able to work 4x10-hour shifts, with call rotation after hours and on weekends.
  
  
• 
  Travel experience and ability to meet Tier 3 travel compliance standards preferred.
