Team Leader, Customer Site

Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks a Team Leader to supervise on-site lab personnel at customer locations in Manchester, New Hampshire. The role encompasses daily team oversight, employee lifecycle management, operational delivery across lab services (stockroom, procurement, material handling, media preparation, cell culture support), and cross-functional collaboration to drive customer satisfaction and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily supervision of customer site-based lab personnel team
• Manage employee lifecycle: hiring, training needs assessment, development coordination, performance evaluations
• Oversee service operations including stockroom, procurement, material handling, chemical tracking, autoclave, media preparation
• Develop and track business metrics; collaborate on customer performance reviews and process improvement initiatives
• Act as liaison between customer and Thermo Fisher; write SOPs, conduct audits, manage inventory

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
• 4+ years managed services experience in laboratory setting
• 1+ year supervisory experience managing team of at least 3 people
• Inventory management experience required
• GxP environment experience; IATA and DOT hazardous goods certification required
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Intermediate Microsoft Office proficiency and chemical knowledge
