Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Department setting required. License: Virginia or compact state license required. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS required. Must-Have: Must have experience with Epic charting system. Must have emergency medications skills. Must be able to interpret and manage dysrhythmias. Must have experience with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure. Must have experience in starting and maintaining IVs. Description: Seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Room. This position requires working the night shift in a community ER. The unit consists of 12 monitored beds with an average daily census of 70 patients. This role does not require a COVID-19 vaccine. The nurse should be prepared to handle a wide range of patient diagnoses and emergency procedures. Interdisciplinary support is available within the unit. Candidates must have specialty experience within the last year. All certifications must be obtained through the American Heart Association. Candidate must be able to work with minimal requests for time off during the contract period.
