Our state-of-the-art 5,000-square-foot rehabilitation center specializes in orthopedic physical therapy, primarily catering to patients with private medical insurance. Our commitment to patient-centered care is reflected in our skilled team comprised of two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant, all dedicated to delivering exceptional therapeutic services in a supportive environment.

Work Environment

This full-time position is set in an onsite rehabilitation center that boasts modern equipment and facilities tailored for optimized patient care. Our energetic team embraces a culture of collaboration and continuous learning, ensuring that every staff member has the resources and support they need to excel professionally. Operating hours are Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a healthy work-life balance while serving the needs of the community.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify each patient's specific goals and needs, crafting individualized rehabilitation plans.
• Manage a steady patient caseload, typically seeing one patient per hour, ensuring focused and personalized care for every individual.
• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment programs that incorporate a variety of techniques to enhance patient outcomes.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques effectively to facilitate recovery and improve mobility.
• Motivate patients throughout their treatment journey, working to achieve optimal functional goals while promoting independence.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure a multi-disciplinary approach to patient care.
• Document patient progress meticulously to facilitate continuity of care and adhere to regulatory requirements.
• Educate patients on lifestyle modifications, including strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination training.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In your role as a Physical Therapist, you will primarily focus on orthopedic conditions, assisting a diverse patient population ranging from athletes recovering from sports injuries to seniors requiring rehabilitation from surgery. Your expertise will be crucial in providing effective treatments that reduce reliance on medications and surgical interventions, enhancing patients' overall well-being.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• A clean professional record, free from disciplinary actions or complaints.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques as well as in developing effective exercise protocols.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, specifically WebPT, to enhance operational efficiency.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience as a Physical Therapist in a similar outpatient orthopedic setting is highly desirable.
• Experience in personalized patient care, focusing on custom fitness and wellness plans that cater to specific patient needs.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges between USD 100,000 and 120,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
