Sr. Property Accountant

The Senior Accountant supports the CFO and Accounting team by preparing and analyzing financial statements, maintaining accurate financial records, and producing recurring and ad hoc financial reports for multiple privately held real estate entities. This role is fully onsite and requires strong Yardi Voyager expertise, with superuser experience preferred. Key Responsibilities Prepare GAAP-compliant monthly and quarterly financial statements, including consolidations and variance analysis. Complete month-end close activities, bank reconciliations, and other recurring accounting tasks. Prepare lender and NOI reporting packages in accordance with lender and ownership requirements. Support annual audits and coordinate audit-related schedules and documentation. Assist with retail property accounting, including tenant billings, accounts receivable tracking, cash postings, and monthly retail financial statements. Prepare annual CAM budgets and CAM reconciliations in coordination with property management. Provide additional financial and operational reporting as needed. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. Minimum 5 years of experience in multifamily and retail real estate accounting. Strong experience preparing and analyzing monthly financial statements. Yardi Voyager experience required; superuser strongly preferred. Advanced Excel skills; proficiency in Word and Adobe. Solid understanding of GAAP. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills, integrity, professionalism, and ability to maintain confidentiality. Additional Requirements Property management accounting experience required. Ability to work well under pressure with minimal supervision. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills. 100% onsite position; remote work not available.
