Location: Mount Prospect, IL Benefits Offered: Medical, Life Insurance, 401k, Dental Employment Type: Full Time Salary: $75,000-$80,000/Year Schedule: Weekdays, 8:00a.m.-4:00p.m. The Division Manager of Behavioral Health provides leadership, clinical oversight, and operational management of behavioral health services for people receiving services at Search360. This position supervises licensed and board-certified clinicians, ensures compliance with all Illinois DHS/DDD, Medicaid Waiver, HCBS, and organizational requirements, and promotes person-centered practices aligned with CQL standards. The Division Manager is accountable for the overall performance of the Behavioral Health Department, including staff supervision, quality assurance, program development, service delivery, and regulatory compliance. This position maintains ultimate responsibility for ensuring all state-mandated assessments, documentation, reporting requirements, billing standards, and deadlines are completed accurately and on time. The Division Manager is also responsible for workforce planning and continuity of services during staffing shortages or vacancies, including providing direct clinical support or caseload coverage when necessary. Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Applied Behavior Analysis, or a related behavioral health field. Current licensure or certification as an LCPC, LCSW, Licensed Clinical Psychologist, BCBA, or other DHS-recognized clinical credential. Minimum five (5) years of experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Minimum three (3) years of leadership or supervisory experience. Knowledge of Illinois DHS/DDD regulations, Medicaid Waiver services, HCBS requirements, and person-centered planning practices. Strong knowledge of behavioral assessment, behavior support planning, trauma-informed care, and positive behavior supports. Advanced computer skills. Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance, reliable vehicle to travel between worksites. Preferred Qualifications Experience with HCBS, and CQL accreditation and Personal Outcome Measures. Experience overseeing clinical billing, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance activities. Experience with strategic planning, budgeting, and program development. Responsibilities: Leadership and Clinical Oversight Provide direct supervision, coaching, mentoring, and performance management to licensed clinicians, BCBAs, and other behavioral health professionals. Ensure staff maintain required licensure, certifications, credentialing, and continuing education requirements. Oversee the referral, assessment, treatment planning, implementation, and monitoring of behavioral health services. Ensure behavioral assessments, risk assessments, behavior support and skill acquisition plans, treatment plans, and other required clinical documentation are completed accurately and within required timelines. Provide clinical consultation and support to interdisciplinary teams, families, guardians, and external providers. Coordinate continuity of care among psychiatric providers, hospitals, medical professionals, community agencies, and internal programs. Workforce Planning and Department Operations Monitor clinician caseloads, staffing levels, productivity, and service capacity. Develop and implement staffing and coverage plans to ensure uninterrupted services during vacancies, leaves of absence, or other staffing shortages. Assume direct clinical responsibilities or caseload coverage as necessary to maintain compliance and continuity of care. Support recruitment, onboarding, training, retention, and professional development of behavioral health staff. Maintain departmental schedules, including behavioral health on-call and support coverage. Compliance, Quality Assurance, and Billing Ensure compliance with all DHS, DDD, Medicaid Waiver, HCBS, CQL, accreditation, and organizational standards. Maintain primary accountability for meeting all state, federal, Medicaid, and organizational deadlines and reporting requirements. Develop systems to track, monitor, and audit assessments, plans, authorizations, billing documentation, corrective action plans, and all regulatory deliverables. Conduct regular audits of clinical records, service documentation, billing activity, and quality outcomes. Review billable services and productivity reports to ensure documentation supports billing and reimbursement requirements. Identify compliance concerns, implement corrective actions, and ensure all records remain audit-ready at all times. Ensure Medicaid provider enrollment and credentialing requirements remain current and in good standing for all clinicians. Program Development and Collaboration Lead quality improvement initiatives, program development efforts, and person-centered practices that improve outcomes and service quality. Participate in strategic planning and help identify opportunities for service enhancement and growth. Ensure policies, procedures, and clinical practices reflect regulatory requirements and industry best practices. Provide training to interdisciplinary teams on behavior plans, skill acquisition plans, risk mitigation strategies, and related behavioral health supports. Collaborate with leadership across Search360. Serve as liaison for university internship programs and oversee intern supervision and development. Chair Behavioral Health Committee meetings and provide leadership reports. Financial and Organizational Responsibilities Assist with departmental budgeting, billing projections, and revenue monitoring. Participate in leadership meetings, committees, special projects, and the Administrator-on-Duty rotation. Ensure the highest standards of Care of the Person and Care of the Environment are maintained.
