Registered Nurse - ICU

$2227.68/week - Job Summary: The ICU RN provides expert nursing care to critically ill patients, functioning as both a caregiver and a care coordinator. This role involves assessing patient conditions, implementing treatment plans, and supervising other healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Responsibilities: Perform comprehensive assessments of physiologic, psychosocial, and cognitive patient status. Implement and document patient care plans in accordance with policies, procedures, and regulatory standards. Educate patients and families on health management, treatment options, and post-discharge care. Oversee and delegate patient care activities to nursing and support staff, ensuring safety and adherence to standards. Collaborate effectively with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care. Maintain a safe environment by complying with infection control, safety protocols, and emergency procedures. Qualifications: Current Washington State RN licensure. Graduation from an accredited nursing program. AHA or equivalent Healthcare Provider Level BLS certification within 30 days of hire. ACLS certification within 6 months; PALS, TNCC, PEARS, and advanced sedation training within specified timelines. Minimum of one year of recent RN experience in acute or critical care nursing. Demonstrate critical thinking, crisis management, and proficiency with department-specific equipment.
