APEX Placement and Consulting has partnered with an exciting company in Harrison Township looking to add a Double Disk Grinder/Feeder to their already amazing team. Their primary responsibility will be to feed parts, inspect finished washers and shims, and train to set up and adjust grinding equipment. Keep reading for more details!

What your day will look like:

• Load washers and shims into the feeder at a steady pace, adjust the feeder for different part sizes and safely clear jams
• Inspect finished parts using a digital Brunswick verifier or micrometer and keep parts within specification
• Assist with machine setup, grinder-wheel adjustments, wheel changes, material handling and routine troubleshooting
• Complete identification and traceability cards and enter accurate production reporting into IQMS
• Minimize scrap and rework while keeping the machine, tools, carts and surrounding work area clean and organized

What we are looking for:

• Mechanical aptitude and comfort using basic hand tools to make routine machine adjustments
• Willingness to begin as a Feeder and train into the Grinder, setup and troubleshooting responsibilities
• Basic computer skills and the ability to learn measuring equipment and production systems
• Hilo experience is a plus but is not required; training may be provided
• Dependable attendance, punctuality, teamwork and the ability to stand and remain active throughout the shift
