Role Description

Heritage Financial Partners is looking for driven individuals to join our growing team as Financial Services Associates.

The position is remote , with hybrid opportunities available for professionals in the Miami/Fort Lauderdale area.

This is a 1099, commission-based opportunity designed for individuals who want control over their income and career trajectory while having the systems and support needed to build a successful practice.

Responsibilities include:

• Prospecting and developing new client relationships
• Conducting client appointments and needs analyses
• Educating clients and presenting appropriate solutions
• Building long-term client and referral relationships
• Completing and submitting applications
• Managing client follow-up throughout the process
• Developing relationships with other professionals and referral partners
• Continuing to develop product, sales, and industry knowledge

Our team has access to free company-provided leads, with additional internally generated leads available for purchase. You will also have access to experienced senior agents and closers for assistance with appointments and more complex cases.

Heritage provides and pays for the infrastructure needed to support your business, including CRM technology, weekly training, mentorship, back-office support, carrier contracting assistance, case design, and ongoing sales support.

There is no requirement to recruit or build a team. Representatives can focus entirely on personal production, or those interested in leadership can pursue opportunities to develop and lead a team as they advance.

Qualifications

• Active Life & Health Insurance License preferred, but not required
• Previous insurance or financial services experience preferred, but not required
• Sales or business-development experience is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Entrepreneurial and self-motivated mindset
• Competitive, disciplined, and goal-oriented
• Coachable and willing to continuously develop
• Comfortable building relationships and speaking with clients
• Ability to work independently in a performance-driven environment
• No college degree required

Compensation

This is a 1099 independent contractor, commission-only position. There is no base salary.

Compensation is based on individual production, product mix, placement, and contract level. Agents can earn renewal compensation on eligible business and have opportunities to advance to higher commission levels based on performance.

Typical earning potential can vary significantly based on experience, activity, production, and results:

• First-year agents: $60,000–$80,000+
• Experienced producers: $100,000–$250,000+
• Top producers: $450,000+
