Your Impact: What You’ll Do As a Direct Support Professional, you’ll serve as a mentor, coach, and advocate, empowering individuals to reach their personal goals while building confidence and independence. Empower Independence Support individuals in developing daily living, social, and community integration skills. Encourage self-confidence, decision-making, and personal growth. Foster Meaningful Experiences Plan and facilitate engaging recreational, educational, and life-skills activities. Help individuals discover new interests, talents, and opportunities. Connect with the Community Assist participants during community outings, volunteer opportunities, and recreational activities. Encourage meaningful relationships and community involvement. Promote Person-Centered Support Provide compassionate care while respecting each individual’s choices, dignity, and goals. Foster an inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and supported. Celebrate Success Recognize and encourage achievements, both big and small. Help individuals overcome challenges and reach meaningful milestones. What We’re Looking For We’re looking for people who lead with compassion, reliability, and a genuine desire to help others succeed. Required Qualifications Applicants must meet: High school diploma or GED with at least two years of relevant work or life experience. Additionally, candidates must have: A valid driver’s license. Reliable personal transportation with current insurance. Ability to complete required background screenings. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
