If you want to contribute to meaningful work and be part of an organization that truly believes when you win, we all win, and when you fail, we all learn, then we're eager to hear from you.The achievers and courageous challenge-crushers we seek, have the following characteristics and skills:What You Will Do:Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies for smart glasses and wearable devices using NX (Siemens)Create detailed 2D drawings with proper GD&T callouts per ASME Y14.5 standardsPerform basic stress analysis (FEA) to validate designs and material selectionsBuild and assemble prototypes using hand tools and lab equipmentCollaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical, optical, firmware, and industrial design engineersSupport design reviews, tolerance stack-ups, and DFM/DFA evaluationsTroubleshoot mechanical issues during prototyping and testing phasesDocument design decisions, test results, and lessons learnedWhat You Will Bring:B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or a related fieldProficiency in NX (Siemens) CAD software for 3D modeling and 2D draftingWorking knowledge of GD&T principles (ASME Y14.5)Basic understanding of electronics (PCBs, connectors, flex circuits, sensors)Hands-on experience with hand tools, prototyping, and mechanical assemblyExposure to stress analysis / FEA tools (NX Nastran, ANSYS, or similar)Strong teamwork and communication skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple tasks with minimal supervisionPreferred Qualifications:Experience with miniaturized consumer electronics or wearable devicesFamiliarity with materials commonly used in wearables (plastics, magnesium, titanium, adhesives)Experience with 3D printing and rapid prototyping techniquesKnowledge of manufacturing processes (injection molding, CNC machining, die casting)Internship or project experience related to smart glasses, AR/VR headsets, or similar productsPay Range: 100000 - 120000Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure.
