Senior Corporate Accountant

This role performs full cycle corporate accounting while supporting segment accounting peers, the financial reporting team, and business partners across the organization to ensure financial reports are in conformity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).This role…Takes a lead role in month-end and quarter-end close processes, including completion of recurring tasks, journal entries, and general ledger maintenanceReviews and interprets financial reporting requirements, rules, and regulationsPrepares complex balance sheet account reconciliations and variance analytics to ensure financial statement accuracy within required reporting timeframesReviews and validates financial data interfaced from external data sourcesConfirms intercompany balances and ensures indirect spend is reported by appropriate reporting segmentsIdentifies and implements improvements to current accounting and reporting processesPerforms ad hoc reporting and analysis, including quarter-end analytics related to assets, liabilities, and other financial transactionsAssists with internal and external auditsDevelops and maintains positive and collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholdersMaintains procedural documentation, trains others on new processes, and monitors ongoing effectiveness and accuracyPerforms other financial reporting duties as assignedWe are interested in speaking with individuals with the following…Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or Finance requiredMinimum three (3) years of accounting experience with two (2) years at a senior level preferredAbility to develop solutions to complex problems requiring in-depth evaluation of variablesAbility to organize and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work under minimal supervision with significant independent judgment and discretionExperience interacting with senior professionals and management across the organizationExcellent verbal and written communication skillsCollaborative approach fostering teamwork and participationWorkday ERP experience preferredStrong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPointSalary: $80,000 – $110,000Modivcare’s positions are posted and open for applications for a minimum of 5 days.
