Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

$1664.64/week - Job Summary: Provide direct patient care to adult medical-surgical patients in a fast-paced hospital setting. Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure safe, effective, and personalized nursing interventions. Responsibilities: Assess patient health status and document findings accurately in the electronic medical record. Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols. Monitor patient responses to medications and procedures, reporting adverse reactions promptly. Educate patients and families on post-discharge care, medication management, and health maintenance. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and update individualized care plans. Adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control guidelines at all times. Qualifications: Current Georgia RN license with active BLS certification. Minimum of 2 years of recent med-surg nursing experience. Demonstrate proficiency in procedures such as EKGs, venipuncture, and glucometer use. Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills. Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
