Job Description
Surgical Technician - Surgical Services

Schedule

Days with call, Monday to Friday, 6:45 AM - 3:30 PM. On-call 7-10 days per month, including weekends, from 3:30 PM - 7:00 PM.

Assignment Details

13-week contract with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Facility may cancel up to 3 shifts during the assignment.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience required.
• Neurosurgery experience preferred.
• Flu vaccine required.
• Must be located outside a 100-mile radius from the facility.
• Request for time off (RTO) limited to 3 days per 13-week contract.

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical procedures across various specialties, including general surgery, orthopedics, podiatry, OBGYN, endoscopy, neurosurgery, and ENT.
• Prepare and maintain the sterile field during operations.
• Manage surgical instruments and equipment during procedures.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient care.
• Assist with patient positioning and transport as needed.
