MRI Technologist

Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for an exciting travel assignment in Alexandria, LA. This role emphasizes expertise in Magnetic Resonance Imaging, offering the opportunity to engage in a diverse range of imaging procedures within a dynamic healthcare setting.

Key responsibilities of the MRI Technologist include:

  • Perform a wide variety of routine and advanced imaging procedures
  • Provide support for other imaging technologists as needed
  • Facilitate smooth and efficient patient flow
  • Troubleshoot basic maintenance and resolve issues related to image processing
  • Participate in ongoing education and technical advances within your scope of licensure
  • Provide basic MRI screening of patients and employees
  • Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and standards of care
  • Work other shifts and/or at other campuses as needed

Requirements of the MRI Technologist include:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or equivalent
  • 1 year of experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred
  • Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) certification from ARRT or ARMRIT
  • BLS certification required
