Staff Project Manager, Collision & Used Car Operations

What To Expect
The Staff Project Manager will address pivotal challenges within our Collision and Used car organization, ensuring adherence to standards by dismantling silos, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and providing crucial field feedback to support partners.
This role involves translating insights from one project to the next while driving process improvements across all Collision and Used Car functions. Ideal candidates will ensure quality standards are met and deliver cost-efficient, scalable solutions to challenges impacting the customer experience and operations.

What You'll Do
Maintain a 12 month rolling schedule of operational milestones and ensure business vertical achievementPartner with business verticals, root cause day to day issues, support resolution, and provide feedback to teams on operations and system enhancements to prevent issue occurring againMaintain headcount reporting and allocation accuracy, organization expense management, and maintaining cadence of executive reportingManage multiple operational projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of milestones, adherence to budgets, and alignment with organizational goalsConnect with relevant stakeholders and build cross-functional relationships at all levels within Tesla, from the production floor to top managementWork closely with legal, IT, finance, HR, and other departments to integrate operational practices into daily operationsShow high adaptability and eagerness to handle extra duties and responsibilities, supporting different areas of the organization beyond their main tasks when the criticality justifies it
What You'll Bring
Minimum 10 years working experience in collision, used car, service or a clear display of excellence and outstanding achievements when experience is missingExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills to assess risks and develop effective mitigation strategiesDetail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy, quality, and confidentialityCan-do attitude and a maniacal sense of urgencyWillingness to work on difficult challenges and projects regardless of discipline. 50% travel based on business needsExceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and present complex information clearly
