Compensation Mount Sinai South Nassau provides a salary range in good faith determination of potential compensation to comply with the New York State law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The Financial Investigator Clerk for the Accounts Service Department follows the hospital's and department's mission to meet its objectives in maximizing reimbursement for services provided and ensuring timely cash flow. He/she also strives to facilitate patients and/or their families with payments and assist them with financial hardship in the most cost effective means possible. Qualifications Responsibilities:
Education Required
• Must complete in-house orientation program
• High school graduation or equivalent required. Experience And Skills
• Speaks, reads and writes English License/Certifications Working Conditions Other information:
Working Conditions
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) worn
• Extensive periods of time sitting.
• Extensive periods of time using a computer.
