Residential Care Worker I

MaineHealth Behavioral Health provides transitional residential treatment for adults, navigating mental health challenges across 12 programs from York to Belfast. As a Residential Care Worker, you will support residents’ day to day as they build skills, follow treatment plans, and strengthen community connections that promote recovery and reduce stigma. Position Highlights Shift differentials for evening and weekend shifts Eligible candidates may receive a sign‑on bonus of up to $5,000, paid in accordance with program guidelines. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) Education: High school diploma or GED preferred. License/Certifications: Current certification as an Active Certified Residential Medication Aide must be obtained within 1 year of hire. Current certification as a Mental Health Rehabilitation Technician 1 (MHRT 1) must be obtained within one year of employment. Valid Driver’s License preferred. Experience: Experience working in a residential setting preferred. The base range is an estimate and does not reflect the full value of our total compensation package. The pay range for this position is $19.87 to $23.75 per hour. Compensation for part‑time positions is determined on a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full‑time equivalent (FTE).
