Responsibilities Responsible and accountable for providing placement of vascular access devices within the inpatient and outpatient hospital setting. In addition, collaborates with nursing and medical staff to determine the most appropriate candidates for PICC, Midline and Peripheral IV insertions and provides clinical staff with education relative to care and maintenance of the PICC lines, Midlines and Peripheral IVs.
