Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Summary:

This Emergency Room RN role provides critical patient care in a fast-paced, free-standing emergency and urgent care facility. The nurse will initially be based at MUSC Health Florence for approximately two weeks before transitioning to the full-time ER environment.

Responsibilities:

Deliver acute patient care in accordance with hospital protocols and standards.

Assess, prioritize, and manage patient needs efficiently in a high-pressure setting.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records.

Respond promptly to emergency situations, including trauma and critical care scenarios.

Ensure compliance with licensure, certification, and hospital policies.

Qualifications:

Possess at least 2 years of ER nursing experience.

Hold an active SC or Multi-State/Compact RN license.

Maintain current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications.

Demonstrate Epic electronic health record experience.

Show flexibility to work 12-hour night shifts, including weekends.

Be capable of obtaining CPI and TNCC certifications if not already held.
