Speech Therapist

This contract role provides speech and language therapy services to students in a school district in Pensacola, Florida. The position lasts 36 weeks and offers competitive hourly pay up to $65. It includes comprehensive benefits and professional development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language therapy to students within the school district.

• Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.

• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to support student success.

• Maintain accurate documentation and case notes in compliance with district standards.

• Support students with diverse needs, including AAC and ESE classroom environments.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent; CFY welcomed.

• Current state SLP license or eligibility; state licensure required for Florida.

• Minimum 1 year of experience in school settings; familiarity with speech and language therapy, caseload management, documentation, AAC, ESE, and district-level support services.

• Must pass background check.
