Experienced Automotive Sales ManagerWe are an Independent Dealership with locations in Marietta and Kennesaw. Our successful dealership is looking for an Experienced Automotive Sales Manager to join our team. You will be responsible for desking and approving deals as well as developing and educating our sales department on best practices. This could include teaching the most effective ways to generate leads, provide thorough follow-up, and close deals. You will be responsible for providing leadership to the sales team to ensure they meet their sales goals.It is important that the sales team is held to the highest ethical standards, and we expect you to support those standards and practices. If you have a proven track record of leading a successful sales team, we want to hear from you!For this role, you'll need:MUST have knowledge of the auto industry and dealership procedures.3 Years of experience working in automotive sales managementExcellent communication skills in both oral and written forms.Experience managing groups and teamsMentality that no job is too smallAbility to communicate effectively to multiple levels of the organizationAbility to resolve customer issues.Evaluate automobile purchase information and contract data.Analyze credit reports for creditworthiness.Prepare required transaction documents and loan agreements.Monitor data provisions and disclosure data for automobile contracts.Other Responsibilities:Will coordinate the function of the salespeople with the Service Dept., Parts Dept., and business office.Assist Dealer in the development of advertising campaigns and other promotions.In this role, you'll:Forecast goals and objectives for the department and strive to meet them.Strive for harmony and teamwork with all other depts.Attend managers’ meetings.Assist the Dealer in forecasting controllable expense elements for the new and used vehicle depts.Understand, keep abreast of, and comply with federal, state, and local regulations that affect new & used vehicles sales.Hire, train, motivate, counsel, and monitor the performance of sales employees.Report all vehicles sold.Directs salespeople to enhance the image and customer satisfaction ratings of the dealership.Communicate with and mentor salespeople to ensure that dealership policies and procedures are understood and followed.Set sales and gross objectives for salespeople.Guide all salespeople in setting their objectives on a short and long-range basis.Review all sales people’s performance.Develop programs of improvement for those sales people who are failing to reach their objectives.Will supervise the salespeople to ensure that they follow their owners on a planned contact basis.Will evaluate each quarter gross performance of the salespeople.Will conduct a weekly sales meeting.She/he will keep accurate sales records, both daily and monthly.Will insist that the salespeople follow the company’s prospecting program to obtain maximum results.Comply with company's training for self and salespeople.Recommend to the Dealer the inventory to be carried by color, model, and equipment, based on a variety of customer and market analyses.Help salespeople close deals when necessary.Confirm salespeople’s appointments are in the CRM.Maintain standards for the delivery of vehicles to customers.BenefitsInsurance: medical, vision, dentalLife Insurance401(k)PTO and holidaysEmployee discounts on vehicle purchases, parts and service repairsOpportunities to join our community service initiativesInternal career advancement opportunitiesJob Type: Full-timePay: $120,000.00 - $180,000.00 per yearThis job advertisement in no way states or implies that these are the only duties and responsibilities to be performed by this employee.
