Registered Nurse - Infusion Clinic

Job Description Saint Luke’s Hospital of Kansas City is hiring an Oncology Clinic Nurse for their Oncology Clinic and Infusion room. This position is part of a rapidly growing program and will assist with care coordination, research studies, provide patient and family education, scheduling, triage, assist with procedures, and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary innovative care team committed to innovation and improving patient outcomes. This is a high-volume fast‑paced Magnet designated clinic. The clinic is INCP and QOPI Certified. HOURS: Monday – Friday 8 AM to 4:30 PM. Various CEU, Continuing Education, Leadership and other career training available. Responsibilities Phone triage. Schedules emergent-need appointments. Patient follow-up calls. Patient education on particular procedures and processes. Subject matter expert in respective specialty for hospital RNs in the units. Regularly meets with other disciplines to share best practices on care treatments. Care for patients with a long-term treatment process. Job Requirements 1 year applicable experience. Basic Life Support – American Heart Association or Red Cross. ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate – Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation. Registered Nurse license.
