Job Description

We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background in critical care, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care in challenging environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Monitor and assess patients' conditions, perform necessary interventions, and adjust care plans as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare team.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Document patient care and progress accurately in electronic health records.
• Support patients and their families with emotional and educational resources.
• Assume responsibility for professional development and continuing education in critical care nursing.

Experience Requirements

Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years of recent experience in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting.

License and Certification Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Minnesota.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.

Additional Information

• Must be available for 12-hour night shifts, with a minimum commitment of 36 hours per week.
• Floating to Progressive Care Unit (PCU), Medical-Surgical (MS), and Telemetry areas may be required.
• Availability for weekend shifts and holidays as needed.
• Requests for time off (RTO) should not exceed 7 days.
