JOB PURPOSE:
System design for facilities in one or more of the following areas: mid-stream, gas treating, gathering, and oil/gas.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/TRAINING:

System design for facilities in one or more of the following areas: mid-stream, gas treating, gathering, and oil/gas.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/TRAINING:
- BS in Chemical Engineering
- Professional Engineer License is a plus
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop sizing information for Process Equipment (compressors/pumps/heat exchangers/distillation columns/separators/reactors) and providing info in equipment data sheets
- Battery Limit List development
- Logic diagrams as well as cause & effect
- Ability to select and size relief valves per codes and requirements.
- Responsible for preparing/maintaining calculations by the project plan for subs for client review
- Know and understanding of the discipline specific scope of work, design criteria, and project standards
- Check the work that is received from Designers/Drafters for correctness and quality
- Developing the process parameters including mass flow, heat transfer, material balance capacities and rates
- Chemical balances, pipe flow rate, compressions, over pressure protection
- UniSim, HYSYS, ProMax
- PID, PFD, Layouts and Specifications
