At a busy logistics and distribution location, our Screeners help support a secure environment by screening visitors and team members, monitoring entry points, and assisting with access and badge verification. This role combines customer service, communication, and attention to detail while helping to identify security-related concerns. Pay Rate: $17.22 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeFri03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSat03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by following site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and Allied Universal standards at a busy logistics and distribution location.
• Screen individuals, personal belongings, packages, and/or vehicles entering or exiting the location in accordance with post orders and established security-related procedures.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and credentials, and report unusual activity, prohibited items, and/or policy violations to the appropriate contacts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and support emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Complete required logs, screening records, and incident documentation, and communicate clearly with site contacts and team members regarding security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
