Software Integration Engineer

GEOAxIS System Integration SpecialistThe GEOAxIS system provides Identity, Credential and Access Management (ICAM) for web applications. GEOAxIS enables online, on-demand, access to NGA GEOINT content based on user's authoritative attributes/roles. Our mission is to maintain highly available ICAM services for protecting those critical mission applications across multiple security domains. The GxNext contract was awarded to Leidos in 2021 and runs until 2031.In this role, you'll work directly with the Consumer Integration team in Chantilly, Virginia to meet deadlines and improve their technical procedures. You will enjoy learning new concepts and technologies and will brief status and capabilities to technical and non-technical audiences as you support them throughout their integration. Day-to-day, you'll be working with consumers of Gx services all over the world to support their mission activities.Responsibilities:Perform system integration and experience integrating services from different systemsTroubleshoot software issues, investigate root causes, and recommend fixesPerform Authentication (AuthN), Authorization (AuthZ), Digital Policy Management (DPM), Entitlement Management (EM), and Authoritative Attributes (AuthA)Leverage project management skills to manage a client's integration with our servicesImplement, evolve, and support authentication, Single Sign On (SSO), Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML), federation, and cloud infrastructureDeploy and operate secure authentication, access management, and Identity as a Service (IDaaS) technologiesImplement methods, standards, and approaches for describing, analyzing, and documenting an organization's enterprise IT architectureNavigate Linux operating systems using command line interfaceCandidate must be able to physically be in Chantilly, VAAll candidates must be US CITIZENS to be considered for the positionRequirements/Qualifications:Excellent written and verbal communication skills and extensive experience working with externalExperience with one or more of the following:System integration or software development, and experience integrating services from different systemsDebugging software issues, investigating root causes, and recommending fixesPerforming software testing or validationPerform software testing or validation procedures, improving the procedures as neededDemonstrated ability to document processes/proceduresAbility to troubleshoot software issues, investigate root causes, and recommend fixesActive TS clearance required to start; SCI with CI Poly eligibleSEC+ certification or DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification, or ability to attain certification within 60 days of startBachelor's Degree with 2-4 years of relevant work experience, will consider work experience in lieu of a degreePreferred Qualifications:Active TS SCI clearance with CI PolygraphKnowledge of Oracle Identity and Access Management (IdAM) suite, including OAM, OUDKnowledge of authentication standards using OAuth2, SAML, or PKIExperience containerizing existing custom softwareKnowledge of common DevOps tools such as:AnsibleGitlabClearance Requirements*Requires an active Top Secret security clearance upon hire and must meet SCI eligibility. Must be willing and able to obtain a polygraph within the customer's timeline after hire.
