The Position:
Part-Time stylist needed in busy hair salon in West Roseville. We are looking for a stylist with weekend availability and a standard schedule Friday – Sunday.
Sterling Shears is a small, family-owned and operated business with a mission to provide high-quality service with a high-end feel at a budget-friendly price. Sterling Shears is a quick stop salon and focuses on haircuts for men, women, and children. Minimum Qualifications:
- Current California Cosmetology License required.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience cutting hair; samples and in-person style test required.
- Experience with men, women, and children.
- Experience with fades preferred.

- Punctual, dependable, and responsible.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Sound judgment and decision-making ability.
- Adaptability and willingness to learn new skills.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Sterling Shears stylists start at $18.00 per hour plus tips (average of $8.00-$12.00 per hour) at a very busy salon with built-in clients.
- Benefits include paid vacation, sick time and holidays.
