Phlebotomist

AS A PHLEBOTOMIST, you will be responsible for performing and attaining phlebotomy samples of all types except arterial on in-patients and out-patients. Qualifications High school graduate or equivalent required. Prior experience working in the medical setting Must have taken a certified phlebotomy course- must attain ASCP certification within 2 years of being hired to role (or completion of a practice nursing program). Ability to work independently. Computer skills Please note: If you hold a certificate that does not expire-you must be a member with either ASCP or AMT. If you are on a maintenance program with an expiration -- you are not required to be a member but must maintain your certification.
