Job Summary
The CT Technologist position is based in the CT (Computed Tomography) specialty at a healthcare facility. This role involves performing advanced imaging procedures, specifically in CT, requiring excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and under pressure. The assignment is scheduled for night shifts, offering an opportunity to join a dynamic imaging team for a temporary period.

Job Details

• Certifications and Education: ARRT-R (Radiography), ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography), BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required upon hire.
• Experience Requirements: Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology; less than 1 year in CT preferred.
• Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week.
• Responsibilities:
  • Perform all aspects of CT imaging, including patient positioning, exposure factors, and radiation protection.
  • Ensure quality control through all manufacturer and American College of Radiology (ACR) recommended tests.
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, patients, and staff to maintain high standards of patient care and operational efficiency.
  • Work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.
  • Follow all policies, procedures, and professional standards relevant to the role.
• Additional Information: Shift scheduled for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. Must demonstrate excellent customer service skills, anatomical and pathological knowledge, and the ability to operate CT equipment competently.
